I’m proud to have been selected as a semifinalist in the 2025 edition of the ACI Pistoia Photocontest, an international photography competition that celebrates visual storytelling across various categories, from landscape to street and portrait photography.
Being among the top 20 images chosen by the jury is a great honor, especially given the high level of creativity and talent showcased in this year’s contest.
My awarded image is a night photograph of the Sassolungo and Sassopiatto mountains, taken from Passo Sella in the heart of the Dolomites. The shot captures the ethereal atmosphere of a winter night, with stars glimmering above the iconic peaks — a tribute to the quiet majesty of nature after dark.
